Wolves Lane Flower Company

Wolves Lane Flower Company is a micro urban flower farm with an organic and sustainable approach. Run by Marianne Mogendorff and Camila Klich, two flower obsessives, committed to a belief that beauty and diversity needn’t be compromised at the expense of the environment and whose floral design work is always guided by nature. WLFC is based in north London on an allotment and a 40m glasshouse. Their flowers are seasonal, scented and never treated with chemicals or pesticides. WLFC are excited to be part of a new wave of farmer/florists committed to offering ethical, beautiful flowers while spreading the word about seasonality. As their flower company evolves, they realised that once they started looking after the soil and avoiding chemicals, nature came back to help them, for example, the ladybirds returned to eat the greenfly. Since beginning WLFC in April 2017 Marianne and Camila have appeared in The Telegraph’s Gardening section, The Evening StandardVogue, The Guardian Weekend and Bloom. They were joint winners of New Covent Garden Market & The Garden Museum’s British Flowers Week competition in 2018 and were one of six recipients of the prestigious Floret scholarship 2019 open to flower growers across the world. Growing in the city, they have succeeded in growing seasonal flowers without chemicals.
