Get dancing with author-illustrator Lucy Freegard as you hear her read from her brilliant new book Ballet Bunnies at Edinburgh International Book Festival on Thursday 23rd August. AGE 3-5.

Betty loves to dance at home but when she tries to dance in class, her confidence disappears. Can she find her poise and balance in time to perform in the end of term show? Discover this delightful dancing tale before making your own paper bunny mask to take away with you.

Lucy Freegard has an MA in children’s book illustration from Cambridge School of Art, a degree in illustration from Cardiff School of Art & Design and did her art foundation at Falmouth University.  Since graduating in 2015 Lucy has worked on a range of projects, from writing and illustrating picture books to designing soft toys and greetings cards from her studio in East London.
