Canine Companions with ‘Picking Pickle’ authors Polly Faber & Clara Vulliamy at Edinburgh International Book Festival

It can be a real pickle picking the right pooch! Should you go for hungry Harvey who eats everything? Or how about sporty Boo-Boo who is as bouncy as a ball? Come along to this highly entertaining interactive event full of puppy-picking picture book fun with Picking Pickle author and illustrator duo Polly Faber and Clara Vulliamy. AGE 4-7.
Polly Faber is a children’s book blogger and volunteer reading helper through the charity Beanstalk. With her family, she looks after her very own tiny free library outside their house in North London.
Clara Vulliamy started off her artistic career studying at Chelsea School of Art, The Ruskin in Oxford, and The Royal Academy. She has illustrated over 35 children’s books and has been published by HarperCollins, Orchard Books, Random House, Walker Books, Egmont and Kingfisher. She is the daughter of author and illustrator Shirley Hughes, with whom she created the Dixie O’Day series.
