Draw along with Matt Sewell at Crickhowell Children’s Book Festival 2019

09/11/2019 2:00 pm | Crickhowell Primary School, Oakfield Drive, Crickhowell NP8 1DU

Join Matthew Sewell at this year’s Crickhowell Children’s Book Festival for a bird-filled journey across the globe. From British garden birds to African darters, keel-billed toucans to American roadrunners, the workshop will celebrate all the different varieties and also include a spotting and jotting session.

Atlas of Amazing Birds is Matt Sewell’s latest book celebrating birdlife. In this vibrant compendium, Matt has made his personal selection of the most amazing birds from around the world and illustrated them in his dazzling style, accompanied by witty and informative descriptions.

Every bird chosen to appear in this book is amazing in its own individual way – birds that migrate thousands of miles, have strange and showy mating rituals, survive in extreme environments, are brilliant builders, are super-fast, super-brave or super-big! Sections on each continent include maps to pore over.
