Join Nino Strachey, author of Rooms of their Own, for a talk at the William Morris Gallery on Tuesday 13th November at 7pm.
Linked by an intimate web of relationships, Virginia Woolf, Eddy and Vita Sackville-West created domestic spaces that challenged contemporary conventions. Nino Strachey explores the homes of three writers linked to the Bloomsbury Group, featuring the art of Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell.
Nino Strachey is descended from a family at the heart of the Bloomsbury Group. Her research focuses on the expression of personality through place, interpreting the biography of buildings and collections. She is Head of Research and Specialist Advice for the National Trust.
