Learn to crochet from scratch, or revise and perfect your skills with this online 90-minute masterclass, taught by Kerry Lord. It includes all techniques to make all 12 birds from her new book A Partridge in a Pear Tree, but will specifically focus on John the Spotted Woodpecker.

You will learn how to hold the hook, how to hold your yarn, all about managing your tension, the double crochet, half treble and treble stitches, all the basics of 3D crochet, and finishing techniques including stuffing and sewing up. Suitable for all abilities.

A supply list is provided to all bookers and you’ll be able to buy a kit from the tutor here, priced at £40.00, alternatively you can use materials from your own stash.
