Meet Stuart Hillard at the Festival of Quilts

Stuart Hillard, the quilting star of ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’, will be at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham to launch his new book Use Scraps, Sew Blocks, Make 100 Quilts (Pavilion). Visitors will have a chance to see talks from Stuart and to meet him in person and buy a signed copy of his new book throughout the fair. Talk: Away from the Hive: The Great British Sewing Bee and Me!
Join bestselling author, quilter, and TV personality Stuart Hillard, on a riotous, hilarious and frank journey through his life. Expect lots of laughs, gossip from the show and the inside track on the life of a sewing bee. The session will be followed by a book signing.

The Festival Dinner
The Festival of Quilt’s Festival Dinner takes place on the evening of Thursday 10th August – the opening day of the show. The event will be celebrated with a pre-dinner drink, a three course fine dining menu and live music from a Jazz/Swing band. Stuart will be the guest speaker for the evening.
