Pavilion sign Personal Trainer & Broadcaster Tally Rye’s first book on intuitive fitness

Pavilion acquired world rights direct from the author.

Personal trainer and co-host of BBC 5 Live’s podcast Fit and Fearless, Tally Rye, is a clear and refreshing voice of reason in the world of fitness, encouraging us all to approach exercise with a mindset of self-care rather than the traditional self-punishment narrative.

In Train Happy Tally combines her expertise with personal experience to help us ditch diet culture and navigate our path to a more holistic approach to body image, discovering the wonderful physical and mental benefits of regular activity on Tally’s 10-week training plan.

Tally Rye said:

“My experience working in fitness has shown me that there is a deep desire and need for a book of this nature. People want to stop fighting their bodies and instead want to work with them, so they can feel good in their own skin. The aim of Train Happy is to encourage self-acceptance and use exercise as a tool of self-care, giving the reader tools to build intuition and find the right workout for them in the long term.”

Helen Lewis, Publisher, Pavilion Books commented:

“Train Happy carries a beautiful and inspiring mantra, reminding us to feel good about movement and our bodies, to take care of our minds and find the fun in fitness again – we are absolutely thrilled to be publishing Tally’s message here at Pavilion.”

Train Happy: An intuitive exercise plan for every body by Tally Rye will be published by Pavilion Books on 9th January 2020, Hardback, £14.99, ISBN 9781911641520
